After some chilly, rainy New Year’s Eve’s here in Split, 2012 once again brought familiar sunny skies and throngs of Splitcani to enjoy the 15C weather, coffee, each other and free, live entertainment on the center stage set up on the Riva for the season.

The waterfront Riva is always the place to see and be seen for practically everyone who lives here.  From glam young gals to moms and pops proudly parading their kids in trams, the scene is a veritable parade.

From glam to grubby, the Riva is a people parade for everyone to enjoy!

The only problem is that everyone is having such a good time, they sit and sip their espresso for hours….so finding your place in the sun is practically impossible.  But the people watching is fabulous!
